Spokane Audubon’s 2025 Calendars Are Available!
Our 2025 calendar of the birds of eastern Washington and northern Idaho has a suberb array of photographs from our members!
The calendar includes beautiful photos of 28 local species from 15 chapter member photographers, plus a little bit of information about the 12 monthly featured birds, from Bluebirds to Waxwings.
The calendar also includes notes on phenology – seasonal natural events and their cycles, including bird migration and nesting – to provide a general alert about what to watch for when. These notes throughout the calendar are based on several local “citizen science” sources. With climate change creating some “phenological mismatches” between plant and insect availability and bird returns, bird enthusiasts are encouraged to use the calendar to record their own observations to add to the knowledge base. Click here to see one of the 8.5” x 11” calendar pages.
This is a limited-edition calendar, so be sure to get yours for just $15.00 online today ($12 per calendar, $3.00 shipping). Proceeds from calendar sales help fund the work we do to protect bird habitat and help make public access to birding areas possible.
You can also purchase a calendar by sending a check for $15.00 to Spokane Audubon Society, P. O. Box 9820, Spokane, WA 99209-9820. Your check should be payable to “Spokane Audubon Society” and be sure to include your name and postal mailing address.
And if you buy a calendar in-person at one of our monthly meetings or at other events, the price is $12.00 each via cash or check.
